Case Study: EngageSciences Social Media Week

Founded in 2010, EngageSciences focuses on using social media to gather quantifiable information for marketing departments. Their platform has already helped many major brands (including Nokia and A&N Media) to create outstanding social marketing programs. Needless to say, EngageSciences is pretty interested in the latest ways to harness the power of social media. That’s why they decided to attend Social Media Week, a popular conference that offered 250 events, a diverse line-up of speakers, close to 20,000 audience members, and plenty of promotional giveaways.

Promo Gifts Helps EngageSciences Make a Splash

In order to stand out from the vast crowd of industry insiders and social media enthusiasts, EngageSciences knew that they needed the right promotional products. They also knew that since this year’s Social Media Week theme was #FreshlyPimped, they needed to be flashy. After browsing the dozens of personalised merchandise Promo Gifts has on offer, they selected 130 printed notebooks, 500 custom T-shirts, and 1000 brightly coloured silicon wristbands.

The wristbands, which came in a wide array of colours and featured the words EngageSciences or #FreshlyPimped, were a particularly big hit at Social Media Week (you can see them prominently featured in the video below). Attendees appreciated that they could just slip the lightweight and attractive wristbands on, rather than having to carry them around like other conference swag.

This was also good news for EngageSciences; as attendees walked around the conference wearing their wristbands, they promoted the brand name and encouraged others to check out the EngageSciences booth for themselves.

All in all, the weeklong conference at Covent Garden was a huge success for EngageSciences. Attendees who were lucky enough to walk away with high-quality notebooks, T-shirts, or wristbands from EngageSciences will no doubt think of the brand whenever they use or wear these handy products, and brands who got a look at EngageSciences’ giveaways are already clamouring for similar event swag.
